How CroatiaViews selects and checks viewpoints
How CroatiaViews selects viewpoints, handles changing access information, credits photography and structures multilingual travel guides.
Purpose
A viewpoint enters the CroatiaViews atlas because it helps a visitor understand a landscape, city, island, mountain or route — not simply because it is popular. We favour places with a strong visual argument, clear geographic context and enough practical value to justify a dedicated guide.
How we work
Access, ticketing, road rules, weather restrictions and protected-area conditions can change. The guide therefore separates durable editorial context from time-sensitive details and points visitors to an official source wherever possible. Coordinates are orientation anchors, not guaranteed parking spaces or trailheads.
Independence
Photography is documentary. Exact-location imagery is preferred; when a regional image is used, it is treated as context rather than misrepresented as the exact viewpoint. Reusable imagery is credited with source, author and licence data.
Languages
Multilingual pages are published on separate URLs with self-referencing canonicals and reciprocal hreflang links. The underlying place facts stay consistent, while titles, descriptions and search-guide pages are adapted to the way each language searches for viewpoints, panoramas, sunsets and access.
